I would like to thank most gratefully, Joey and Persia , the two amazing ladies behind the blog:  Addictive Daughter, for nominating my blog for the Reality Blog Award in 2012.

Thank you so much Joey and Persia, I deeply appreciate it!

Real, Energizing, Amazing, Lovely, Inspiring, Touching, Yippee!

Accepting the Reality Award comes with a few guidelines… These include answering the following 5 questions:

  1. If you could change one thing what would you change?
Young people today leave school with an amazing amount of knowledge about all sorts of things. Yet, they are often not taught self-awareness, and essential life skills that allow them to successful deal with the stresses of modern life and our information overload society. I would change how we teach our children and add self-awareness, well-being and health skills to every curriculum!
  2. If you could repeat an age, what would it be?
Each age brought some wonderful and some less wonderful yet useful learning experience with it. At the age I am now, I am physically fitter than ever, I am most deeply connected to myself and my spirituality, I enjoy what I do …. so now I am enjoying this moment and joyfully anticipating what is to come and what will reveal itself …..
  3. What one thing really scares you?
Fear of fear …and not knowing when stepping into a potential shadow emotion or experience …how I will come through it. What allows me to face the fear and the shadows is the deep knowledge that I will come through stronger,  empowered by all the resources available to me, through others supporting me and within me through my skills and qualities.
  4. What is one dream you have not completed, and do you think you’ll be able to complete it?
Sharing my experience, my tools and techniques, how to transform the stress of anxious expectations and recurring ‘negative’ emotions into joyful anticipation¹ and empowering emotions with a wider audience through books, workshops and other channels. And yes, I know I will be able to complete this!
  5. If you could be someone else for one day, who would it be?
I would like experience being a panther, a falcon, a dolphin for a day or one of the ancient goddesses like Sulis Minerva or Tara.
And, considering that we call carry other people’s energy with us (our culture, our parents, our ancestors, our teachers, our friends and the list goes on), I would like to be totally and 100% myself without any other influence for one day 🙂
